The Oris Hyder Film Collection, held by the Archives of Appalachia at East Tennessee State University, consists of nineteen films made by Orin Hyder's father, Sam Jack Hyder, who began taking 16 mm home movies after he purchased a movie camera in 1937. The films focus on family members and life, and on life at Milligan College.
